Hull City 0 – 3 Arsenal (Ramsey 31, Podolski 45, 54)

Arsenal gave a little preview of the FA Cup Final with a commanding second half display at the KC Stadium, and took charge of the race for 4th spot.

On a windy Humberside afternoon, the game was delayed for a few seconds when a few advertisement hoardings came flying on to the playaing surface. Hull, looked menacing at times in the first half, with Shane Long and Jake Livermore having shots.

But, it was Arsenal who took the lead. Mesut Ozil, injured for so long, made his first start in over a month, and played in Cazorla who set up Ramsey to score the first goal of the afternoon. The Welsh Jesus was central to Arsenal’s play all game, with his intelligent movement and build up play.

It was 2-0 before half time, as Arteta robbed the ball off a bewildered Nikica Jelavic, and Ramsey set up Lukas Podolski, the German striker in the midst of a purple patch. Ramsey was involved again having been played in by Cazorla, and his shot was saved by Steve Harper, right into the path of Podolski who slotted the ball home in front of an empty net.

Oh, Arteta lost his tooth after a challenge from Shane Long. That ugly cunt! But not to worry, his hair was still perfect!

Arsenal could have scored more, but for the crossbar denying Giroud. Mertesacker nodded over, and Harper made a top save from Ramsey. 3-0 to the Arsenal!
